asked the Minister of Labour if the policy of transferring labour from mineral water manufacture to brewing, as recently carried out at Luton, will be followed in other cases; and whether he will give instructions to his officers not to bring pressure on those who do not desire to engage in brewing?

Where workers are released from a concentrated industry, they are available for placing on whatever other work seems most suitable and most important. I have no evidence that workers have been directed against their will to work in breweries.
