HC Deb 16 December 1942 vol 385 c1967W
Mr. Storey

asked the Minister of Supply whether he will reconsider the refusal of the Paper Control to reimburse the Hendon Paper Works Company, Limited, of Sunderland, in accordance with the terms of the contract between himself and the company, the cost of unloading straw stored on his behalf and subsequently removed upon his instructions after damage by fire?

Sir A. Duncan

I am advised that neither the terms of the contract nor the principle on which such, transactions are based call for the reimbursement of this cost by the Ministry of Supply.
