HC Deb 10 December 1942 vol 385 cc1717-8W
Sir A. Baillie

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport whether he will consider the erection of omnibus shelters or some kind of protection at all main omnibus stops?

Mr. Noel-Baker

The Regional Transport Commissioners, in conjunction with the welfare officers of the Ministry of Labour and National Service, have already given close attention to the need for shelters at exposed omnibus stops and a large number of shelters have been erected. If my hon. and gallant Friend will let me know of any places where he thinks that additional shelters are needed, I shall be glad to have investigation made.
