Friend refers to emergency storage of water for fire-fighting, the National Fire Service and local authorities, acting on directions which I issued in conjunction with my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary early this year, treat such water in a way that prevents the breeding of mosquitoes, which I am advised would be the only source of risk to the public health, though a small one.
