HC Deb 09 December 1942 vol 385 c1580W
Mr. Cyril Lloyd

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food what steps he is taking to relieve the unsatisfactory position of fish supplies in the Midland area, particularly in Dudley, where the market, since the inception of the scheme, has received only meagre supplies?

Mr. Mabane

The position in the Midland area, including Dudley, is under careful examination, and, wherever necessary, the supplies to wholesalers, fishmongers and fish fryers will be adjusted.
