HC Deb 02 December 1942 vol 385 cc1173-4W
Mr. R. Morgan

asked the Minister of Health what steps are taken to ensure the continued manufacture of medicinal compounds such as those involving the use of liver which are essential for mala4 dies such as pernicious anaemia and stomachic troubles, especially in view of the announcements by normally manufacturing firms that they can no longer be provided?

Miss Horsbrugh

I understand that liver extract is being manufactured in sufficient quantities for the purposes for which its use is permitted, that is the treatment of pernicious and other megalocytic anaemias by injections.
