§ Mr. MabaneWith the exception of the National Fire Service, the Civil Defence services are directly administered by local authorities. On the cost of provision of uniforms for the services so administered,486W I would refer my hon. Friend to the replies which I gave on 7th August to Questions on this subject by my hon. Friends the members for South Tottenham (Mr. Messer) and North Tottenham (Mr. R. C. Morrison), to which I have nothing to add.
