§ Captain MargessonThe railways in both Persia and Iraq are being worked by the respective State railways administrations. The military authorities are cooperating with the administrations in making provision for British and Allied traffic. Railwaymen from India and other countries are being employed in this connection. Charges for the carriage of British and Allied traffic are being credited to the railway administrations concerned.
