asked the President of the Board of Trade on what terms insurance against war damage under the business scheme will be extended after the end of this month?

The business scheme will be maintained in force after 30th September. It is proposed that the premium for the whole year to 30th September, I942, shall not exceed 30s. per cent. For the period of six months up to 31st March, 1942, the rate of premium will be 15s. per cent., which will be payable at the option of the insured either in one sum, or in two instalments at 7s. 6d. per cent. each covering the quarterly periods to 31st December, 1941, and 31st March, 1942. The rate of premium for the subsequent six months will be determined in March next and will not exceed the limit indicated.
