HC Deb 11 September 1941 vol 374 c340W
Mr. Lambert

asked the Home Secretary whether he has considered a resolution dated 2nd September, unanimously passed by the Totnes Borough Council viewing with concern the intention to proceed with the building of a new police station at Totnes and suggesting that the erection of such building should be deferred until the end of the war; and whether he will accede to the Totness Council's request?

Mr. H. Morrison

I have recently taken the opportunity of visiting the existing premises and have satisfied myself by personal inspection that new premises are necessary in the interests of police efficiency.
