asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has now decided to increase the mileage allowance to civil servants using their own motorcars upon official duties, as these allowances are still those which prevailed before the war?

In agreement with the Staff Side of the National Whitley Council, the mileage allowance regulations have now been modified.
