§ Mr. SandysSo far as officers are concerned, I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the answer given to my hon. Friends the Members for Wallsend (Miss Ward) and Tamworth (Sir J. Mellor) on 9th September. A year ago non-commissioned officers received an increase of 6d. a day. No proposals for any further increase are at present under consideration.
