Friend the Secretary of State for the Colonies addressed to Colonial Governments on 5th June last and which has since been published as a White Paper, emphasises the need for great propaganda drives in the Colonies for investment in War Savings schemes. The means of carrying out this policy has, of course, been left to the discretion of individual Colonial Governments, but the National Savings Committee has already advised many Colonies in the organisation of savings campaigns, and arrangements are now being made for specimens of the Committee's propaganda and literature to be sent as they are published to all Colonial Governments for their information.
