§ Sir R. Taskerasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he is aware of the serious position in many parts of the country, where stocks of bees were unable to gather any honey even for their own winter stores, and where the bees have already consumed the bulk of the 10 lbs. of sugar which should keep them through the winter; and is any provision being made for a supplementary grant?
Major Lloyd GeorgeInstructions have been issued for a supplementary grant during the current month not exceeding 5 lbs. of sugar per colony where evidence is produced by a bee keeper that the original grant for winter feeding is inadequate.
