§ Mr. Lewisasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport how many of the pedestrians killed by motor-vehicles in built-up areas during the second year of the war were using the pedestrian crossings specially provided for them; and will he undertake that in future the statistics shall be compiled in a way that will give this information, so that the public may know to what extent the use of these crossings can contribute to the safety of pedestrians?
