§ Mr. H. MorrisonMy hon. Friend has been good enough to send to me a copy of the statement referred to, which is a protest against the bombing of civilians. It is of course a grotesque misstatement that His Majesty's Government have taken the initiative in this matter, but this travesty of the facts is likely to mislead no one and should in my view be treated with the contempt which it deserves.
