MorrisonApart from any action which may be taken under the general law to deal with unregistered clubs or premises where there is illegal sale of drink, authority may be given to the police under Defence Regulation 42c to close premises of the type referred to, and the police have in fact closed 15 such places in the last twelve months. In addition, two or three applications for an authority are at present under consideration.
