§ Colonel LlewellinUnder the general direction of the Ministry of War Transport, the Railway Executive Committee directs and co-ordinates the day to day working of the railways. The chairman of the Railway Executive Committee also holds the office of Controller of Railways in the Departments. No salaries are paid to the members of the executive as such.
