§ Mr. Viantasked the Minister of Health whether he will obtain information of the amount of immunisation against diphtheria practised in the areas covered by his circular, dated 12th June, 1941, in view of the fact that, unless this information is given, the mere number of cases of diphtheria notified and the proportion of cases immunised will not have any signficance?
§ Mr. E. BrownThe main purpose of the returns referred to in the circular mentioned is, in fact, to furnish information about the extent to which immunisation of children against diphtheria was carried out between 1st January, 1940, and 30th September, 1941. The return has been asked for from all local authorities.
