§ Mr. Lipsonasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport whether his Department was represented at the inquest held on 3rd November, at Cheltenham, on eight members of the Royal Air Force who lost their lives in a motor accident; and, if not, does he propose to hold an inquiry into the accident under Section 23 (3) of the Road Traffic Act, 1930?
§ Colonel LlewellinI do not think that an inquiry would throw any fresh light on the cause of this accident; but I understand that police proceedings are being taken. I know that the House will wish to join me in expressing sympathy with the relatives of the men who lost their lives in the regrettable occurrence.
