§ Mr. ButlerA number of such teachers are teaching the Channel Island children with whom they were evacuated to this country. There is a registry established by the Association of Education Committees and the National Union of Teachers to assist teachers who may become redundant to obtain posts in areas in which there is a shortage of teachers. This organisation is understood to have placed in teaching posts those Channel Island teachers who were not employed.
