§ Mr. Manderasked the Minister of Economic Warfare what progress has been made in the preparation of the statutory list of traders in association with the Government of the United States of America?
§ Mr. FootAdditions to the British Statutory List under the Trading with the Enemy Act are made at frequent intervals. If any name appears on the American Proclaimed List, which is not already on the British Statutory List, the evidence in our possession is immediately re-examined at the Ministry of Economic Warfare. In consequence, the great majority of names on the Proclaimed List now appear on our own Statutory List, and there will be very few remaining exceptions when the next monthly order is published. A very large proportion of the names on the British Statutory List are also on the United States Proclaimed List.
