Mr. HudsonOne of the functions of county garden produce committees which have been established in nearly every county in England and Wales is to carry out a campaign to secure the cropping of allotments and gardens in non-urban areas on a plan best suited to war conditions. I have no reason to anticipate that most kinds of vegetable seeds, garden tools and other necessary equipment will not be available through the usual channels of distribution to meet the demand from allotments and private gardens next year.
