§ Mr. H. MorrisonThe issue of steel helmets and stirrup pumps is proceeding steadily and satisfactorily. I do not think it would be in the public interest to give figures, but I may say that as regards fire bomb fighting parties who are entitled to free helmets, issues have been authorised and should have been despatched by the end of this week to meet the requirements of all the most important areas from which particulars have been received This is a very substantial figure.
