§ Mr. Wedgwoodasked the Secretary of State for War whether the admission of the Home Guard of nationals by birth of an Allied or neutral State includes Polish nationals of Jewish race or Austrian nationals of Jewish race, if such are duly vouched for by the chief constables?
§ Captain MargessonA Polish national who is vouched for by a chief constable is eligible for enrolment in the Home Guard in the same way as the national of any other Allied State. Aliens of enemy nationality, including Austrians, are not eligible for enrolment.
