I append a specimen weekly menu. The quantities consumed at each meal are approximate, as rations are issued for the day in bulk and prisoners of war decide themselves at which meal they are eaten. The menu is taken from a camp at which the

Breakfast. Dinner. Tea.
Monday—
Coffee ¾oz. Potatoes 16 oz. Coffee ¾ oz.
Bread 8 oz. Goulash (veg. as required) Bread 8 oz.
Margarine ¾oz. Margarine ¾ oz.
Marmalade ¾oz. Cabbage 8 oz. Meat Loaf 3 oz.
Tuesday—
Coffee ¾oz. Potatoes 16 oz. Coffee ¾ oz.
Bread 8 oz. Stewed Meat 6 oz. Bread 8 oz.
Margarine ¾oz. Cabbage 8 oz. Margarine ¾ oz.
