Major Lloyd GeorgeCases of alleged profiteering in foodstuffs are frequently reported to the Ministry and in recent months have in the main related to canned goods of all descriptions and fresh fish. Maximum Price Orders for many varieties of' canned goods have been issued and others are in contemplation. Price control of fresh fish will shortly be introduced.
