Major Lloyd GeorgeYes, Sir. A food salvage organisation has been set up in each food division responsible for the administration of all food salvage operations. The salvage of Ministry of Food stocks and of privately owned stocks which have been requisitioned is carried out under the directions of this organisation, which also renders such assistance as may be necessary to enable private owners of foodstuffs to salvage their property effectively.
