§ Sir R. Gowerasked the Minister of Information whether, for foreign use, he will consider the compilation of a film giving pictures before and after of famous places of purely antiquarian and archaeological interest which have been destroyed in enemy air attacks?
Mr. CooperI appreciate the hon. Member's suggestion but I am advised that it would not be possible to get a sufficiently wide distribution for such a368W film in foreign countries to make it worth while. As the hon. Member is doubtless aware steps have been taken to compile a pictorial record of damaged buildings and books and other publications on the subject will be issued from time to time.
