§ Mr. SandysUnder the Military and Air Forces (Prolongation of Service) Act, 1939, the term of service of members of the Regular Army and the Army Reserve is deemed not to expire until the end of 1541W the emergency. Soldiers retained with the colours under that Act are not entitled to any special leave on the expiry of their period of enlistment.
