§ Captain WaterhouseI assume that the hon. Member is referring to the Regional Controller of Factory and Storage Premises for the North-Eastern Region, Mr. G. E. Naylor. This officer was appointed by the Board of Trade to be responsible in this region for finding and allocating accommodation required by Government Departments for factory or storage purposes; it is not his duty to survey or requisition premises, this being a matter for the staff of the Departments which require accommodation or of the Ministry of Works and Buildings on their behalf. Mr. Naylor has considerable practical experience of the wool industry with the premises of which he is likely to be largely concerned in Yorkshire. He is unpaid.
