§ Captain Yorkasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he can give an assurance that he will give immediate and full effect to any increase in agricultural wages in the fixed minimum prices of all agricultural produce?
821W
Mr. HudsonI would remind my hon. and gallant Friend that, as I stated in the House on 26th November, the Government has undertaken that agricultural prices will be subject to adjustment to the extent of any substantial changes in costs of production, including wages. This undertaking applies to the period covered by the duration of the war and at least one year thereafter.
