§ Miss WilkinsonI have been asked to reply. If local authorities are unable to obtain other accommodation for the sorting and storage of materials recovered from bombed sites they are authorised to take possession of land or premises under Defence Regulation 51. In doing so they are expected to have regard to the considerations referred to by my hon. and gallant Friend.
