§ Mr. BevinThe duties of factory inspectors are, generally speaking, the same 693W whether they are men or women but in distributing the staff regard is had to the prevalence of heavy or other special industries in the locality. None of the inspectors now resident in Wales is a woman, but women inspectors are readily available from the Divisional Offices. I am considering whether any change in their arrangements is desirable in present circumstances.
