§ Flight-Lieutenant Flemingasked the Secretary for Mines whether he is now in 332W a position to make a statement in reply to the letter addressed to him, on 29th November, 1940, by the town clerk of Manchester, in re standard conditions of sale of coal?
§ Mr. GrenfellMy Department is in correspondence with the Manchester Corporation on this matter which raises general issues of some importance. Conditions of sale are normally settled as between buyer and seller, and I am hoping to arrange for the appropriate organisations of colliery owners and public utility undertakings to discuss the question direct at an early date.
