§ Sir G. CourthopeI am unaware of any material purchases of stores by the Forestry Commission in the South of England for consignment to Scotland. Whenever possible orders are placed with manufacturers located close to where the stores are to be delivered, but it has occasionally been necessary, in order to meet pressing demands, to purchase small quantities from factors who were known to hold stocks of the stores required.
