Mr. De la Bèreasked the Minister of Agriculture whether in co-operation with the Treasury he will obtain information from the bank liaison officers who have been appointed by the banks to supervise the borrowings of agriculturists in each county, as to the need in the national interest, in order to secure increased production, for the reduction of interest charges to borrowers from 5 per cent. to 3 per cent.?
