§ Mr. MabaneMy right hon. Friend has no information which would lead him to suppose that, for the reasons suggested by my hon. Friend, the recent Statutory Orders regarding fire prevention will not in general fulfil their purpose in providing an adequate number of fire watchers. Persons undertaking fire prevention duties at their place of work should bear in mind that it is the responsibility of the local1534W authority to organise, where necessary, fire parties for the protection of the homes in which they live.
