§ Mr. AsshetonMy right hon. Friend states that he has not received at headquarters any specific representations from the Birmingham city council on this subject, but as he informed my hon. Friend in answer to a previous Question, substantial assistance has already been given In the provision of the necessary labour and the officers of the Department continue to keep in close touch with the council to give them every assistance in their power.
