§ Mr. Leachasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware of the death of Christine Thorpe, aged seven months, of 17, Garden Road, Hemingfield, West Riding of Yorkshire, of inflammation of the brain, nine clays after vaccination; whether the development in this case was similar to many of the cases of post-vaccinal encephalitis investigated by the Andrewes and Rolleston Committees on Vaccination; and why was any association between vaccination and the child's death denied?
