Mr. De la Bèreasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Supply to what extent the publishers of ordinary every-day greeting cards were prepared to work on reduced paper supplies of 50 per cent, of the pre-war ration to enable them to continue publishing such cards; and will he amend Paper Order No. 36, which prohibits production, to enable some 60 established firms of this specialised industry to fulfil their obligations to those of their workpeople now serving in His Majesty's Forces in the matter of employment when they return to civilian life?
