Graham-Littleasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that the Circular 2407 (1941), issued by his Department to medical officers and institutions under its direction, conveyed the assurance that national wheatmeal flour contains the greater part of the germ of the wheat and is consequently of high nutritive value; and, as this assurance is not correct, whether he will withdraw the circular and explain the position?
§ Mr. E. BrownI would refer my hon. Friend to my reply to him on a similar Question on 18th December. In the circumstances I see no need to withdraw the circular.
