Major Lloyd GeorgeI fully recognise the extra work which rationing has placed on food traders and the possibility of reducing the volume of this additional work is kept constantly under review. Some simplification of the rationing procedure as it affects the retail trade has recently been effected and further proposals to this end are at present under active consideration.
