§ Mr. Lewisasked the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been called to the case of a driver in the Royal Army Service Corps, who was enlisted recently in the face of a bad medical record, who has already had to be operated upon in hospital since he has been in the service and whose condition is such that it will probably not be long before he has to go to hospital again; and whether it is proposed to continue to keep this man in the Royal Army Service Corps?
§ Captain MargessonThe soldier in question was examined by a medical board on 11th December and was classified in Category B.1, which means that he is fit for base and lines of communication duties. It is accordingly proposed to retain him in the Royal Army Service Corps.
