HC Deb 04 December 1941 vol 376 cc1265-6W
Mr. Rostron Duckworth

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works and Buildings what is the shortage of window-glass; and whether he is aware that owners of bomb-damaged houses are often unable to obtain any substitute, except millboarding, which is capable of keeping out the winter gales?

Mr. Hicks

I am not aware of any shortage of window glass or suitable substitutes at the present time. If my hon. Friend will give me particulars I will have investigations made.
