HC Deb 04 December 1941 vol 376 cc1268-9W
Sir T. Moore

asked the Secretary of State for War whether the troops in Palestine are able to obtain tobacco; and, if not, what remedial action is being taken?

Mr. Sandys

Troops in Palestine receive a field service ration which includes a weekly issue to each man of two ounces of tobacco or cigarettes. There are also ample supplies of tobacco and cigarettes for sale in the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes in Palestine.
