§ Mr. BevinAbout 150 hostels have been set up, or are in process of being set up, at Government expense for the accommodation of transferred war workers other than constructional and agricultural workers. The National Ser-vice Hostels Corporation Limited has1268W been actively engaged in organising its staff and other preparatory steps; the first of the hostels which it is to manage will be ready for occupation next week. I am circulating a list of the members of the board of directors and also of the Hostels Advisory Committee which I have set up under the chairmanship of the additional Parliamentary Secretary, on which sit representatives of the Government, employers and trade unions.
