§ Mr. LawThe Chinese Government have at different times made various proposals for co-operation and assistance. While His Majesty's Government have not found it possible to agree to all these proposals, I am glad to be able to say that from many of them most useful results are already emerging, as, for example, in connection with the construction of the Burma-Yunnan Railway and the provision of export credits.
