WoodThe Finance Accounts of the United Kingdom for 1939–40 give the figures asked for as on 31st March, 1940, and the Finance Accounts for 1940–41 which will be published shortly will give the figures as on 31st March, 1941. These necessarily exclude any advances made since the outbreak of the present war.
