§ Mr. Grovesasked the Minister of Pensions whether he is aware of the application for, and the refusal of, a pension to the mother of the late Driver Thomas Banks, No 860476, Royal Artillery, reference No. B 5/02/1903, who died as the result of a motor accident whilst on duty; and whether he will further investigate the fact that the mother of the deceased soldier was informed she was not entitled to a pension unless in pecuniary need arising from old age, infirmity or any other adverse condition not of a temporary character?
